Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion actor and model hailing American actor. After gaining fame through his work on Road Trip he has since played in more than 20 feature films such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. The actor has also been featured in over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and others. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma at age 14 and has been fighting this disease since. The cancer returned to remission after two years. But the treatment in such a short time had a severe effect on his body. It also slowed his growth. Once he was acting, financial security was his goal. He was a victim of the poverty of his youth. I've lived so frugally and for so long, I'm able been able to enjoy that financial security or my life feels uncontrollable for me he said in an interview. In an interview the interviewer also talks about his childhood. His goal is to put an end to bullies. He says "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." DJ's ideal role is to become a father on reel, as well as in real life. He admits that Directors do not cast me in those roles. One day he'd love to have a child so that he could devote more time to more attention to the child.
